reinforcing our community

The men and women who built Summit Steel Works haven't forgotten the struggles we encountered on our road to success, nor have we forgotten the help that came from people who'd made the journey before us. Summit makes substantial investments to encourage the people of our community to work for their own brand of success. We back up our encouragement with training programs for driven people, teaching the skills needed to achieve the dream of a life of good work.

Summit Steel Works has trained 50+ welders in our shop, a number of whom we have sponsored in their pursuit to become union ironworkers, and most of whom were formerly incarcerated or graduates of Cityteam San Jose's rehab program. Summit also supplies free stainless steel stock to Elmwood Correctional Facility for their in-house shop welding program. Outside of the shop, many of us can be found at work throughout the community, giving away some of the good we've received in our own lives.

Summit Steel Works uses high-quality materials made to last. We don’t cut corners, and we take our work seriously. Throughout construction projects, Summit aims to minimize waste and energy consumption as much as possible. Summit avoids disturbing the natural environment surrounding construction sites.
